I believe the the D-70 SW was made in the US, a very limited run and can come at a very high price. Beautiful instrument and worth having it you can find and afford it.

I got this D-68sw a few months ago. It really is one of the best sounding guitars I have had. It seems to be well made and all solid. The frets are getting worn though and I thought I might take it to a luthier in Olympia to see what new ones will cost...

I'm sure they are very similar. The D62 just doesn't have the three piece back or the inlaid neck. The sound I'm sure would be very close to each other.

Two different animals when it comes to sound but both are great guitars you can't go wrong with either one sold both of mine for a killer profit.
