I purchased this guitar in 1982 or 83 and can not determine the actual build date from the serial number.  This old guitar gets turned heads from my high end Martin players as it has great, sweat sound.

I Have this guitar D-28S with the two-piece back and Martin style pick-guard, purchased it new in 1980 from C&M Music in Reno. Ser # 791862 which leads me to believe it was manufactured in 1979.

Apologies if this is in the wrong section, but I've recently acquired a Washburn D5  acoustic (serial number: 98******) and can't find out anything about it. It has Grover tuners and a bolt-on neck.

Any info would be appreciated
