figured it out, spoke to an old Washburn guy, it's a usa prototype to the WM526 :>) lucky me there was never a logo or serial added.  this guitar just kills

The problem with limited editions is that we do not get any information at all on them. What happened in the past was a dealer would order a certain model and they would make a limited run of them for that dealer only as to how they were built with eit...

Looks to be all original....this is a Washburn FV-20V BBR....fair market value, I would think, would be in the $275.00 to $325.00.  The last 2 FV models that sold on E-bay went for under $200.00 each.  For some reason ...not much interest in the...

Hi all!  Total noob to site (and guitars), but am trying to ID this Woodstock.  Has a serial number 825055 with a "K" stamped high on the neck of the guitar; Stamped thru the hole is "George Washburn" (no plate or paper label) Woodstock.  No EA, etc bu...

Welcome. That is a festival, I can not find my saved info on the Woodstock.  You are in the rite place for answers though, as that is a popular guitar.  Tom.  :)

I believe what you have is a EA40 Woodstock.  Briefly, there was also a EA20 Woodstock.  The festival series is rather confusing, with lots of exceptions to the rule.  The serial number would leave me to believe it's a 1982.  Here is some more info.

That sounds about right ......
I had a EA44 "Monterey" of about the same vintage (purchased in 80 or 81).  It had the same style pickup controls, and just had "Monterey" stamped on the back brace inside (no model number)

It amazes me how may of the USA Washburn made instruments ended up over seas.  These are 2 very nice high end Washburn guitars.  The Cherokee is pricey.
Just my opinion....
The Ryman, on the other hand, I think is fairly priced at 1,650 pounds...

I would guess for there Jim that is just about what it would cost here wouldn't it. Boy if I could justify it I would love to own a Ryman but then I would have to go back to work and retirement is far to much fun lately.ship

Turns out this Ryman sold on UK ebay in June,to the current seller, after 3 listings for 1,000 pounds. The original seller would ship internationally.  Ship, at that price, you wouldn't have had to go back to work.

D-17 CE WR with serial # starts with 91 ???

Please help, i'm confused. Just bought it and trying to identify. From what I can tell these weren't produced in 91. Serial # is 9110014.  then under that it is stamped as D17CE9/WR. 9 may be an S, hard to tell.  is it an early run for 92 production? o...
