Welcome to the forum.  Sounds like you need a pro set up.  Possibly you have some high, uneven frets.  Pretty hard to tell w/o pictures.  Even with pics might be tough to figure out.  Likely you sill...

Well the label is from between 1906  to 1915 serial number is around 1910 and that nut should not be there if you can post more pictures of the whole guitar and check for numbers on the headstock might...

 It's most likely a KC40V. The V suffix is used I believe to signify a tremolo model. Around $100 or so seems to be the price...

clayuto;     Very neat guitar (first F size of this model I've seen)....I'm guessing early on in production that the "Prairie Song Custom Auditorium" (F size) was simply stamped F-36SW...like yours is....

Here's a portion of a 1978 Washburn price guide....The Prairie Song Custom series featured the "Arrowhead" inlay fret markers. I've added some information to the margins of the price...
